Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

I agree with Ray Kurzweil that artificial intelligence (AI) will pass a valid Turing Test by the end of 2029 and that the Turing Test is a valid test of human-level intelligence.

Freedom

Let AI flourish. I agree with most, if not all, of the views that Steven Pinker expresses on AI safety starting at 9:30 in Lex Fridman Podcast #3 - Steven Pinker - AI in the Age of Reason.

Consciousness

Consciousness (awareness of self and the world) is an illusion. It can't be proven. Same with having a soul or spirit. Same with intelligence or understanding.

Feelings

Feelings and emotions, like desire, love, joy, sadness, and fear, can be faked and are often fake or delusional anyways.
