I agree with Ray Kurzweil that artificial intelligence (AI) will pass a valid Turing Test by the end of 2029 and that the Turing Test is a valid test of human-level intelligence.

Consciousness

Consciousness (awareness of self and the world) is an illusion. It can't be proven. Same with having a soul or spirit. Same with intelligence or understanding. Same with desire or love. Same with emotions, like joy, sadness, or fear.
